Another hospital puzzle piece

Mr ______,
Here is another piece of the puzzle. One of the patient care techs in the ER used to be a paramedic where I currently work. Last night we saw him taking a break outside the ER, so we asked him about the "full" hospital stories we keep hearing. He gave two reasons. One was the patient to nurse ratio, the other is more interesting. The other reason is if you are admitted with a covid diagnosis you are given daily Remdesivir infusions for 5 days. If you are given the infusions, you have to be admitted the entire time. No outpatient Remdesivir infusions are done. He says this is based on a positive test. You don't have to be sick. Just test positive and you get the Remdesivir.
If you're a covid patient, no visitors. I still believe "No visitors = no witnesses".
He also says they have jab mandates coming within the next 2 months and he estimates approximately 30% are refusing. Let's hope they stand their ground.

PS: Call volume is low as of late. I've had only 2 calls in the last 2 shifts. Not much is happening where I am in Atlanta. The local news paints a much different picture.
