Today my partner on the ambulance was someone I have occasionally worked with for more than a decade. She is a very sweet person, but is one of the ones who believes covid killed millions and is quadruple vaxxed. She says she lost her mother just 2 weeks ago to Guillan Barre syndrome. That her mother woke up one morning unable to get out of bed, and within 6 hours she was on a ventilator because the paralysis was so severe that her diaphragm was impaired. Her doctor said it was the most severe and rapid onset of Guillan Barre he had ever seen. My partner says her mother was very strong, healthy, and independent. And that she had just returned from Israel where she went hiking in the mountains of Israel just one week before her death.

This thing is killing in so many ways.
