Hospital oddity
Email 11/19/2020
Good evening Mr. ______,
I wanted to pass along an odd encounter I witnessed last night at one of our local hospitals in Atlanta. I'm a paramedic, and had just brought a patient to the ER because of head trauma. While waiting on my patient to finish his CT, another patient was wheeled up to be next. After a few minutes, a worker at the hospital came to give this guy a nasal swab test for covid. The man told the worker that they had already tested him about 30 minutes prior and it was negative. The worker simply said "Really? Well we have to do another. They're mandatory.". I think this is a forced game of Russian roulette.
This is the same hospital in which I overheard the ER charge nurse give instructions to the staff to admit ALL non trauma patients as "Covid" that night. That was 3 months ago. I heard it while waiting to get a nurse signature on my patient care report.
Anyway, Thank you for being a beacon of common sense in this sea of propaganda in which we live.
