Hi Mr ______,
I don't really have anything new to pass along. Everything has been strangely quiet. Call volume is still a bit low. We still get the occasional atypical chest pain call. Usually younger than 40 y/o with no pertinent medical history, and "fully vaccinated". As far as the mandate is concerned, ___ hasn't changed course. 12/8 is still the day. The hospitals aren't full and the ER's are just moderately busy with occasional lighter days.
Nobody has heard anything back about religious exemptions. We all received a form email acknowledging they have received and are reviewing. Nothing beyond that. We remain short staffed as the day approaches. Every day they are paying stipends to each person that will work the unfilled shifts. I've said it before, God will provide. A wise man once said "Faith can move a mountain, but don't be surprised if God hands you a shovel." haha. It'll make for a long month, but at least I'll have a cushion to float me to whatever He has planned for me next.
By the way, I ran across this video allegedly of the Brisbane covid detention center. I just thought it was interesting.
