Triponin

Mr ______,
Triponin is an enzyme released by damaged heart muscle tissue during heart attack and/or severe irritation. There are other enzymes released, but triponin is the earliest, therefore the one they look for first to rule out myocardial infarction (heart attack). Maybe it's a marker for other things, I don't know, but in my field of work that's why they focus on that enzyme.
And about that hypertonic nasal spray. Hypertonic refers to the amount of dissolved solute in a solution. 0.9% normal saline is isotonic (has the same concentration of salt as the human body). So that spray simply has a higher concentration of salt.
Still no pandemic out here, hospitals still aren't overrun, and our call volume is still low.
